​Funny Noizes Productions is pleased to bring to Ohio of one of the funniest and fastest-rising stars in stand-up comedy today when it presents SUNDAY COMICS AT THE FUNNY STOP STARRING DARNELL ANDERSON

Headliner Darnell Anderson is making his rounds through the Mid-West. He is influencing a wide range of audiences with laughter. With a sly grin and raised eyebrow, he surprises audiences with wit and misdirection leaving them in stitches.

His material comes straight from his life with a nice mixture of storytelling and set-up-punch style comedy. The audience will share some intimate, honest moments as Darnell reveals his perspective on his past relationships, life mistakes and other random subjects.
Performing at festivals such as Gilda’s Laughfest, Detroit Comedy Festival and Border City Comedy Festival and with the likes of Michael Kosta, Nick Swardson and Maria Bamford, Darnell brings a likeable energy to the room that leaves the crowd feeling like they made a new friend.

Carl Johnson is a Detroit area favorite with his style of observational & self deprecation humor. Carl has been touring all over the Midwest and has opened up for comics like Matt Braunger, Tommy Johnagin, and Mark Normand". Carl is a regular at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase.

Chris Ketler (aka The Bitter Dude) who draws from a topsy-turvy life with humor that is easy to relate to and, in the process, funny as hell. Although Ketler is the first to say that his life isn’t quite so bitter nowadays, thanks to the fact that in little more than three years, he’s created a name for himself with recent appearances throughout Ohio, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, New York City and Orlando. In addition to his work as a comedian and comedy producer, Ketler is an actor, who stars in the upcoming television series, “Below Average Joe.” He also recently wrapped production on Amazon Prime’s crime family drama, “Mafia Ties.” Ketler can also be seen in major films like “White Boy Rick,” starring Mathew McConaughey, “Embrace The Twilight,” and the newly-released “Anhedonia,” starring The Walking Dead’s Emily Kinney.

Special Guest tonight is Jay Hunter. Jay is a delinquent from Cleveland, Ohio. He joined the Navy to see the world. Upon returning to civilian life, Jay began sharing his unique perspective at any open mic or poetry house that would let him. In 2018, Jay began producing his own weekly stand up comedy show "Weak with Jay Hunter". His energetic organic style led to him opening for nationally known comic Mat Alano-Martin and Carlos "Spanky" Hayes from Nick Cannon's Wild N Out. He has participated in the Bricks & Bridges Comedy Festival in Maine. Along with stand up, Jay is a member of NewsFlash Writers Table out of Grand Rapids, MI. He's on a mission to out funny the whole wide world, one Garth Brooks joke at a time

Opening our show tonight is Ryan Yex. Ryan is a favorite of FNP and it's no wonder because has been entertaining audiences with funny, clean, yet risqué material on his daily experiences living with a disability. Born with cerebral palsy, he discovered at a very young age his talent for making people laugh and could always be counted on to be the life of any party. Knowing he always had a knack for performing, he decided to step on stage – with, of course, the aid of his walker! Ryan made his mark quickly in the northern Ohio comedy scene by winning “Ohio’s Best Amateur Comedian” in 2015 and in 2017 performed at The San Diego Comedy Festival. Ryan has opened shows for nationally touring comedians Kevin Farley and Dustin Diamond.

Hosting the evening’s antics is the Master of Ceremonies, the voice of Akron at WNIR popular radio guru, Tom Cullison, the man with the golden voice (and hair).
