Funny Noizes Productions is pleased to welcome our Headliners, all the way from NYC, the very funny Riley Lassin and from Detroit Michigan, the hilarious Burt Danqus. They're converging on N.E. Ohio for your entertainment with the CATCH A RISING STAR COMEDY NIGHT on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Tailgators Sports Pub & Grille located at 459 College Street in Wadsworth, Ohio.

There is NO CHARGE for this show, It's FREE but it's recommended you reserve your ticket as these shows fill up very fast.

Headliner Riley Lassin is an up and coming NYC comedian who is a force not to be reckoned with! She is known to wield jokes like a light-saber yet she credits Bettie Page as a role model. Riley can be found performing her unique style of comedy throughout NYC at places like NYC's Broadway Comedy Club, The Grisly Pear Comedy Club and Greenwich Village Comedy Club and she has just returned from doing shows throughout Louisiana and Michigan. She has been a guest on popular podcasts like Race Wars hosted by Sherrod Small.

Co Headliner Burt Danqus style has been described as: "That comedian, with a stoic demeanor and cadence to match, Bart Dangus has a unique wit and creativity that will have audiences laughing at the painful side of life.” Bart started his comedy career in Arizona, shortly after quitting his day job, bought a travel trailer and lived on the road traveling while hosting a podcast and doing as much stage time as possible throughout the United States. After about a year of roaming he settled down in Detroit, MI. and created a weekly show called Prankis with Bart Dangus. Since then he's released a comedy CD, wrote for The Metropolitan Magazine, and has been performing all over the United States and Canada. He's performed at the Backline Improv Comedy Club, Comedy Off Main, and Go Comedy. He's worked with Dave Landau, Heather Jay, Andy Andrist and Doug Stanhope.

Feature performer David Horning is originally from the suburbs of Akron, Ohio. David burst onto the N.E. Ohio stand-up comedy scene with his absurd and memorable observations of milk. Since then, he’s had audiences across the country doubling over with laughter.

David has performed at clubs throughout NYC, including Caroline's, The People’s Improv Theatre, and New York Comedy Club. Since his return to N.E. Ohio he has performed at Hilarities in Cleveland, Helium in Portland, Liquid Laughs in Boise, and at shows across the country. His comedy ranges from light-hearted observations of awkward small talk and his experiences growing up Catholic, to darker, more thought-provoking takes on the stubbornness of people, online dating, and death. David will have you saying, “What did I just watch?” David currently lives in Cleveland with his cat, Puppy.

Feature Chris Ketler (aka The Bitter Dude) who draws from a topsy-turvy life with humor that is easy to relate to and, in the process, funny as hell. Although Ketler is the first to say that his life isn’t quite so bitter nowadays, thanks to the fact that in little more than three years, he’s created a name for himself with recent appearances throughout Ohio, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, New York City and Orlando. In addition to his work as a comedian and comedy producer, Ketler is an actor, who stars in the upcoming television series, “Below Average Joe.” He also recently wrapped production on Amazon Prime’s crime family drama, “Mafia Ties.” Ketler can also be seen in major films like “White Boy Rick,” starring Mathew McConaughey, “Embrace The Twilight,” and the newly-released “Anhedonia,” starring The Walking Dead’s Emily Kinney.

Special Guest Samantha Archual is a Canton, OH native who took her first whack at stand up comedy on Dec, 17th, 2017. To her surprise, in just a little over one month of writing and performing, she landed herself a spot in the Amateur Semi-Finals Competition at the Funny Stop Comedy Club in Cuyahoga Falls and has been in every finals competition since! Her comedy style, so far, can best be described as a string of tongue-and-cheek personal anecdotes, intermittently hitting some hot topics including religion, politics and her own personal preference for how she would kill herself, if she ever had to. In other words, some light-hearted family fun for children of all ages!

Hosting the evening’s antics is the Master of Ceremonies, WNIR popular radio guru, The Voice of Akron Mr. Tom Cullison aka the man with the golden voice (and hair).
