Highland Square Neighborhood Association (Porchrokr!) is excited for this year's Film Festival! The mission is to showcase filmmaking talent with a decidedly local flair. This year, we are maintaining our local focus, as well as broadening our scope to create another memorable film fest that brings the community to multiple locations and film festival events. This year will include a full-length feature film including a Q& A with a lead actor and director as well as a Devo inspired orchestration to their silent music videos , multiple screening locations, music, vendors, cash prizes, and a musical performance.

Highland Square Film Festival Saturday, May 18. 

Pre-Festival: Friday, May 17

• 8:30 pm Film screening of "Robot Ninja" followed by Q&A with director J.R. Bookwalter and actor Michael Todd

Itinerary: Saturday, May 18

• 10:00-11:00 Community Yoga with Yoga Squared @ Will Christy Park

• 12:00-5:00 Vendor tables open.

• 12:00-3:10 Films/presentations/installations @ locations throughout Highland Square.
• 3:30-4:00: Awards Ceremony at Barmacy

• 3:00: Children's Film Shorts ending with Devo inspired event @ The Highland Theatre. Devo portion beginning at 4:25.

Film Festival: Saturday, May 13

• Pre-Festival Tickets available at Nightlight Cinema
• $20 ($25 day of the event) Full Festival Access to all locations and a full day of events on MAY 18.

• $10 ($15day of the event) Closing event ONLY including Children's Short Films and Devo orchestration with David Giffels @ The Highland Theatre.
• $5 ($10 day of event) KIDS PRICE: Closing event ONLY including Children's Short Films and Devo orchestration with David Giffels @ The Highland Theatre.

• $10 ($13 day of the event) Short films/presentations ONLY @Yogasquared, Square Nightclub, Matinee Bar, and the Mustard Seed Market.
