Hale Farm & Village presents the 30th Season of Holiday Lantern Tours
Celebrate the magic of the season with Hale Farm & Village’s beloved holiday tradition! Now in its 30th year, the Holiday Lantern Tours invite guests of all ages to enjoy a lantern-lit walking tour through the 19th-century village. Step inside homes beautifully decorated for the holidays, where village residents share the sights, sounds, and stories of Christmas in the Western Reserve.
Following the tour, warm up with seasonal treats and explore the Gatehouse Museum Store featuring unique gifts, including Handcrafted at Hale Farm & Village glass and pottery. Gift certificates are also available, making it easy to find something special for everyone on your list.
Tour Information
- Tours depart every 20 minutes beginning at 5:00 p.m.
- Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
- Please dress for the weather, as this is an indoor/outdoor event.
Accessibility
The tour route is approximately 0.85 miles along gravel and grass paths, which may be uneven or muddy in wet conditions. Some buildings require climbing 2–3 steps to enter, making them inaccessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Tours take place in all weather—rain, snow, or shine.

Meet the Organizer
Hale Farm & Village is the living history museum of the Western Reserve Historical Society, located in Bath, Ohio. Surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Hale Farm includes the generational home and farmstead of the Hale Family, heritage breed animals and gardens, and an 1840's Living History Village--featuring historic structures dating between 1830 and 1850 from across Northeast Ohio.
