About This Event
Hale Farm & Village invites the community to join us on June 17-20, 2025, for a week-long Juneteenth commemoration that brings history to life through immersive storytelling, live interpretation, and thought-provoking programming.
This event transports visitors to 1870, a transformative moment in Reconstruction-era America when newly freed citizens navigated the challenges of freedom, civil rights, and the evolving definition of democracy. Throughout the week, visitors can also enjoy hands-on activities, demonstrations, and discussions that explore the enduring struggle for freedom and equality in America.
