FNP is proud to bring Mark Evans back to the area for your entertainment. Tonight Mark plays The Funny Farm Comedy Club in Youngstown with his "Southern, Not Stupid" comedy show.

The Funny Farm is NE Ohio's premiere venue for live comedy and is located on the second floor of The Federal Building 110 W. federal St. Youngstown. They offer a full line of adult beverages but may we suggest you arrive early and have dinner in The Federal Building Restaurant. There is plenty of FREE street parking and several FREE parking lots adjacent to the Funny Farm Comedy Club.

Headliner tonight is Mark Evans. An Atlanta native, Mark has spent his entire life in the South. However, he is NOT what you might expect to see when you hear the words “Southern Comic”. Not only is his comedy hilarious, it’s smart, to the point, and cutting-edge clean. In fact, his “Southern, Not Stupid!” show has been taking audiences by storm from coast to coast, on land and at sea.

Mark will allow you to see the lighter side of the dumb things that happen all around you every day. Two things you might take from his show are that you don’t have to be dirty to be funny, and that having a Southern accent does not mean you are stupid. You can’t pinpoint stupidity to any one region or group; it’s universal. His examples of widespread stupidity have left his audiences doubled over with laughter, and hopefully a little wiser, too. After all, Mark’s goal is to educate as well as entertain!

Mark has always been able to make people laugh, but when he first took the stage in 1993, he knew he found his calling, and he has never looked back. Since then he has worked comedy clubs, colleges, casinos, corporate events, country clubs, international resorts, and cruise ships. His performances aboard Carnival Cruise Lines have made him an even more diverse comedian. That is, he can be just as funny working for family or adult audiences. Mark can adjust his show to cater to any and all of your needs. But even in his adult shows, he still works clean keeping his act to a PG-17 level.

Featuring KELLY THEWLIS, who has had nothing in her life go to plan, and she’s prepared to tell you about it. With her comedic stories, she invites you to share in the laughter and annoyance of life’s surprises. Originally from Akron, Ohio, she is an internationally performing comedian who has performed at notable clubs such as The World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles, The Second City in Hollywood and Comedy Cirque in London. She has been featured at the Chicago Women's Funny Fest, The Burbank Comedy Festival, Lady Laughs Wichita, Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival, and Funny Women Fest LA.

Our Special Guest tonight is Aaron Forsyth. Hailing from the cold shores of Erie, PA. Aaron has been delighting crowds frequently travelling from Cleveland/Akron/Pittsburgh/Buffalo tri state area clubs and events. He recently won a 2 time trophy win through FNP at the Funny Stop in Youngstown Ohio... crowd chosen both times.

What sets Aaron apart from many - is the insane amount of energy that erupts from the second he hits the stage until the time applauding crowds have to say goodbye.

His sound effects laden, quick delivery can go in any direction... from ghosts, to his dog, to porngraphy to road signs. You never know where it'll go. His crowd work with the front row is always a blast as well.

He is a one of a kind comic taking the scene by storm. You won't be disappointed! We warned you!

Tonight's Host/MC duties will be handled by FNP's own Chris Ketler . Chris (aka The Bitter Dude) draws from a topsy-turvy life with humor that is easy to relate to and, in the process, funny as hell. Although Ketler is the first to say that his life isn’t quite so bitter nowadays, thanks to the fact that in little more than three years, he’s created a name for himself with recent appearances throughout Ohio, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, New York City and Orlando. In addition to his work as a comedian and comedy producer, Ketler is an actor, who stars in the upcoming television series, “Below Average Joe.” He is currently a member of the cast of Amazon Prime's “Mafia Ties.”
