About This Event
Paddle with a certified instructor and a naturalist to learn paddle strokes, water safety and see wildlife around the water. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes and be able to swim. We suggest wearing clothes that can get wet and bringing water, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. Fee includes instruction and loan of kayak, paddle, and personal flotation device.
Advance registration is required and space is limited.
Ages: 13 & over (ages 13 to 17 must be with a registered adult participant).
Cost: $15 per person. All sales are final.
Includes: kayak & equipment.
Parking: Please note that parking for kayak programs at Silver Creek Metro Park is at the Bathhouse/ Lake House. Follow signs for the Bathhouse/ Lake House when you enter the park.
