Spring Picnic Days on the Farm, invites guests to pack a picnic and enjoy the natural beauty of the living history museum and Cuyahoga Valley as the season comes into full bloom. Explore our forests and trails, search for indigenous wildflowers and observe the diversity of migrant birds returning for the season. Children will enjoy suggested games in the village green or craft kits that can be completed on site or at home. Enjoy specific spring themed museum demonstrations such as cooking with foraged plants, flower pressing and specially curated craft & trade demonstrations.

The Marketplace at Hale Farm & Village will be open offering Hale and Ohio made items, light snacks, cold drinks, beer and wine for purchase (in compliance with Ohio liquor laws, no outside alcohol is permitted on property). Cafe 1810 will not be open for this event.

Boxed Lunch options:

Chicken Ranch Club Sandwich: Sliced grilled chicken breast, smoky bacon, cheddar cheese, house made ranch spread, and leaf lettuce on a brioche roll. Meal includes chips, a cookie and bottle of water.

Hearty Italian Sandwich: Genoa Salami, sandwich pepperoni, provolone cheese, house made sundried tomato parmesan spread and leaf lettuce on a ciabatta roll. Meal includes chips, a cookie and bottle of water.

Fire Grilled Vegetable Sandwich: Grilled Vegetables, smoked gouda cheese and baby spinach on a ciabatta roll. Meal includes chips, a cookie and bottle of water

Chopped Farmers Market Salad: Diced cucumbers, red peppers, green peppers, red onions, shredded carrots, grape tomato halves and sliced hardboiled egg served with balsamic vinaigrette. Meal includes a roll, a cookie and a bottle of water.

Bistro Chef Salad: Roasted Turkey breast, Virginia style ham, smoky bacon, hardboiled egg, grape tomato halves, red onion, cheddar and mozzarella cheese served with parmesan ranch dressing. Meal includes a roll, a cookie and a bottle of water.
