King Entertainment is pleased to announce a series of special Comedy Shows starting in 2020 at Barmacy Bar & Grill located at 804 W Market Street in the Highland Square area of Akron, Ohio.

The Barmacy Bar & Grill has amazing drink specials and a great menu from the DEAD KITCHEN which offers a variety of food with an evil twist, it's quickly become one of the trendiest bar & grills in town.

The 1st show in this series of comedy events is on Saturday, January 25, 2020 with Long Island NY comic Tom DeCillis and featuring TBA. Showtime is 8 pm and the laughs are guaranteed.

Headliner Tom DeCillis hails from Long Island, NY and enjoys steeping loose leaf tea and meditating when not brewing up some lit laughter. Tom had originally played music throughout NY and the East Coast. He can be seen performing his quick witted style of comedy in the most notable of clubs around Long Island, NYC, as well as on the road. Tom was a finalist in the 2018 and 2019 Great Long Island Laugh Off.

Next up is Joel Gant. Joel has performed at the WV Comedy Festival in 2016, 2017, and 2018 (hosted the Showcase). He has featured at Wiley's in Dayton, OH for Matt Holt. Gant has also opened for the likes of Chick McGee, Stewart Huff, Jeff Bodart, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and Rob Van Dam; the last two being extra thrilling for Joel as he is a lifelong professional wrestling fan. His experience running comedy events also came in handy when he was asked to help run the stage at the Live Laughs Comedy Fest in Sidney, OH. With six years of stage experience, and hundreds of sets under his belt, Joel is a relatable comic whose quick-wit and wordplay talents make him popular with audiences from any walk of life.

Special Guest is John King. John started doing comedy on the road nationally and then started to concentrate on building regionally. John has also appeared on "B.E.T.comic view," "The Nashville Network "Be a star" and "Showtime at The Apollo". Comedy is not John's only talent and when he's not on the stage making people laugh, he's at a Blues Festival entertaining with his harmonica. Now that he's recently retired from his "day job" he can once again concentrate on getting his comedy career rolling.
